We wanted this film to feel cinematic and huge. The film features some breathtaking imagery of Earth from space, and we made sure the design did it justice. These spaces feel large and heavy with a constant low drone. In contrast, we have moments of the familiar soundscapes back on Earth which are grounded by natural sounds of wind, traffic, and water. The visuals are gritty, so the design is too. There are moments of intense action, followed by stillness, which lended to a dynamic mix with big pushes and quiet soundscapes.
