This is a personalized sonic logo that we crafted for Cody Fry, a musician and composer whose powerful arrangement of The Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby” was nominated for a Grammy. Early on, Cody sent us stems from some of his prior compositions to use as a source for the sound design. This was very helpful to make the logo feel like it authentically embodied Cody’s personality. From there, we manipulated these materials in various ways—stretching them out, cutting them up, and applying effects—although dedicated fans may still recognize certain fragments.

The logo was inspired by vintage movie production intros, so we incorporated the clicking patter of a film projector, and the distinctive crackle of analog film. The result is a sonic logo that feels both retro and modern: highly distinct, and yet flexible enough to introduce any piece that Cody chooses.
